Freeway Operations Research Circular
The purpose of this circular is to identify and prioritize research needs and projects that could be sponsored by NCHRP, AASHTO, FHWA, State DOTs, academia, and other interests (e.g., TMC Pooled Fund Study, HOV Pooled Fund Study) that fund or advance freeway operations related research and technology transfer initiatives. Volunteers interested in developing the circular or specific focus areas should contact the Research Subcommittee co-chairs Brian Smith (briansmith@virginia.edu) or Jessie Yung (jessie.yung@fhwa.dot.gov).

NCHRP Research Problem Statements
One of the responsibilities of the Research Subcommittee is to annually develop and advance to the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) for possible inclusion in the NCHRP Research Problem Statement and Synthesis Topic Programs.
